This. Show. Is. Insane.
2.5 hours. A crazy opening courtesy of Jessica Robles. More songs than ever.
Caesar lays siege to Massalia (modern Marseilles).
Then he heads to Ilerda (modern Lleida) in Spain. Did it rain? Yes. A lot. He fights against Pompey’s legions.
His takes care of a mutiny from one of his legions.
Finally he return back to Rome and is declared Dictator.
What happens next?? Does he issue proscriptions? Heads on a pike?
Listen and find out.
Of all the 31 episodes to date I can without hesitation say that this is definitely one of them. Started listening to this podcast after moving house and having my first child to keep me company through the sleepless nights and house work. Love the show, love the school boy humour and I especially love how Cam says he doesn’t care about bad reviews and then proceeds to spend longer ranting about them than talking about Caesar. It all adds to the happy hour flirtini cocktail that is ‘The Life of Caesar’.
I tip my hat to you gentleman. Well done Sir’s, well done indeed.

Awesome podcast dudes. Cracked me up for 2 hours with your puerile humour and musical interjections. I also learned more about Caesar than I had previously in my entire life to date.
As a win-win trade, I reckon we should direct all high school history teachers to bugger off to the pub for an hour during school time and make the kids listen to your podcasts while they are gone.
