Oh, and something has been weighing on me. My response regarding the English/Welsh longbow was specific to THAT longbow, which became quite famous. There were other longbows before that period in various areas of the world, but the “English/Welsh Longbow” was something that only burst onto the scene during the era of Edward I. 🙂
